This is a sample of our beautiful hand-woven rug made in 50% hemp and 50% wool. It's perfect to order if you are unsure of the colour or if you want to feel the material.
Both wool and hemp are durable materials that last over time. All our wool- and hemp rugs are woven by hand and are yarn-dyed with azo free dyes, the rugs can therefore differ in both colour and shape and deviate slightly from pictures. The rugs are beautiful to use in the hallway, kitchen as well as in the living room and bedroom. Wool gives both warmth and feeling to the room. Our hemp wool stripe rug is available in several sizes.

Our hemp rugs are made by hand by talented craftsmen in India where they have long traditions and skills in rug weaving. The fiber is extracted from the outer part of the stem of the fast-growing hemp plant. It is a material known to be both dirt-repellent and durable. Hemp fibre is highly sensitive to light and may change colour over time if placed in direct sunlight. Dark rugs dyed with yarn may fade, while lighter rugs can develop a yellowish tone.
All our rugs in sizes 170x240, 200x300 and 300x400 cm will be delivered to your home during day time. Please note that delivery takes place only on weekdays and to your gate/port. DHL will contact you to schedule the delivery. Please choose "home delivery" as the shipping options at checkout. The smaller rugs are delivered to the nearest DHL service point just as usual.
