Durable and dirt-repellent rug made from 100% hemp with decorative fringes. The hemp rug is 140x200cm and is perfect to use in the living room, bedroom or kitchen. The hemp used is yarn-dyed with azo free dyes, the dyeing is done before the carpet is woven together according to traditional techniques in India. The hand-woven rugs can therefore differ in both shape and color and deviate slightly from the pictures. Our Hemp rug 140x200cm is available in several different neutral colours.

Our hemp rugs are made by hand by talented craftsmen in India where they have long traditions and skills in rug weaving. The fiber is extracted from the outer part of the stem of the fast-growing hemp plant. It is a material known to be both dirt-repellent and durable. Hemp fibre is highly sensitive to light and may change colour over time if placed in direct sunlight. Dark rugs dyed with yarn may fade, while lighter rugs can develop a yellowish tone.

All our rugs in sizes 170x240, 200x300 and 300x400 cm will be delivered to your home during day time. Please note that delivery takes place only on weekdays and to your gate/port. DHL will contact you to schedule the delivery. Please choose "home delivery" as the shipping options at checkout. The smaller rugs are delivered to the nearest DHL service point just as usual.
