Rug sample for our beautiful hand-woven rugs that are made from 100% hemp and has a rustic yet modern look. It is perfect to order home if you want to see the colour and feel the material.
Hemp is a durable material that last over time. All our hemp rugs are woven by hand and dyed with 100% natural azo-free dyes that are derived solely from plants. The rugs can therefore differ in both colour and shape and deviate slightly from the pictures. The rugs are beautiful to use in the hall, kitchen and also in the living room and bedroom. Sumak hemp rug is available in sizes 60x90 cm up to 300x400 cm.

Our hemp rugs are made by hand by talented craftsmen in India where they have long traditions and skills in rug weaving. The fiber is extracted from the outer part of the stem of the fast-growing hemp plant. It is a material known to be both dirt-repellent and durable. Hemp fibre is highly sensitive to light and may change colour over time if placed in direct sunlight. Dark rugs dyed with yarn may fade, while lighter rugs can develop a yellowish tone.
